On March 11, 2025, Pack 620 had to say goodbye to Cubmaster Steve Dean and Popcorn Kernel Lori Dean. They will be moving to be closer to family in Alabama.
Cubmaster Dean has served our Pack as a Den Leader, Assistant Cubmaster, and served as Cubmaster since 2021. He has planned and led exciting events for our Pack including campouts, the Rocket launch, the Pinewood Derby (those Dad jokes), the July 4th parade, as well as our monthly Pack meetings. We want to thank him for his years of committed leadership and dedication to Pack 620.
Popcorn Kernel Lori Dean has served as the Pack’s Fundraising Chair since 2021, leading the Pack’s efforts to raise money through popcorn and butter braid sales each year. Through her efforts, our Pack has increased its sales of popcorn each year and have doubled sales during her time as Chair. In 2021, we sold approx. $4,358 and in 2024, we sold $8,133. This has allowed our Pack to undertake several activities we would not otherwise have been able to afford, including having multiple campouts and CAP. We want to thank her for her tireless activity on behalf of our Pack.
