Pack 620 Scouts Go Fishing

On May 10, 2025, several Scouts in Pack 620 went to Staunton State Park to get their Fishing adventure elective. Staff from Colorado Parks and Wildlife were really great, providing instructors for the Scouts, teaching them how to prepare their fishing rods and cast into the pond. After instruction, the Scouts tried their hand at fishing, catching and releasing trout in the Davis fishing ponds. Three Scouts—Ben, Charlie, and Massimo—each caught at least one fish. The rest of us were lucky to catch tree branches, rocks, and other local fauna in the pond. The Scouts had a great time. Thanks so much Colorado Parks and Wildlife for the instruction and gear. Also, a big thank you to Sean Brewer for organizing this trip!
