On May 17-18, 2025, Pack 620 held our annual Crossover and May campout at Chatfield State Park. We had a fun-filled afternoon with games and other activities leading up to our Crossover, followed by dinner, and a campfire. Some highlights included:
- Flag Ceremony, led by Scout Maddie B. from Troop 114G, with all the dens parading in with their den flags after the Color Guard.
- Cubmaster Kyle Marquand and Asst. Cubmaster Nicole Garrido’s Induction Ceremony, from their trip over the bridge to receiving their badges and neckerchiefs.
- All the dens receiving their rank achievements. Getting to watch older Scouts put neckerchiefs on the younger Scouts.
- Dinner- we have some great Grillmasters!
- Skits that the kids prepared were wonderful. Bazooka gum : )
- Flag retirement ceremony was very moving. Cubmaster Kyle’s words provided a good opportunity for reflection.
- S’mores – melting chocolate and gooey marshmallows around a campfire, that’s pretty much all you need to say
- Breakfast crew – pancakes and tater tots!
Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Crossover and Campout a success!
In particular, our Crossover Committee and their families, and all the parents, Scouts, and other volunteers who helped out. Crossover Committee: Alicia Schalla, Emily Phillips, Kyle Marquand, Nicole Garrido, Suzie Voong, and Valerie Hopkins.
