Indoor Campout – Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Pack 620 will be camping indoors at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs on Saturday, January 10, 2026. Scouts and their families should arrive at the zoo by 7:00 PM to put their sleeping bags and other stuff away.

The program will include:

• 7:00 – 8:00 PM: Pizza and S’mores
• 8:00 PM: Guided evening tour of the zoo starts.
• Tour includes giraffe feeding and up close encounter with animals in The Loft.
• Watch a movie until lights out.
• Sunday morning: Light breakfast
• Sunday morning, 9:00 AM: Program concludes.

Admission to the zoo on Sunday is included. People can put their stuff in the car and return to see the zoo after the program has concluded.

Costs

Normal costs for the campout are noted below.

• Children (Scouts and siblings): $80.75
• Adults: $50.75

The Pack intends to help Scouts and their families defray the campout costs with commission money earned from the popcorn sales. The exact discount will be determined once popcorn sales conclude at the end of November. An email will go out at the beginning of December with this information.
