Memorial Day Flag Placement

Come help honor our nation’s fallen veterans by placing flags near their headstones. This event happens rain or shine, so please be prepared for the weather. The ground can get very wet and muddy, so wear shoes that will be comfortable under those conditions. Scouts should wear their Cub Scout uniforms if possible.

Things to bring:

• a ruler: the flag needs to be placed 12 inches from the headstone
• a screwdriver or stick to poke a hole in the ground (this helps the flag go in better)
